The International Crane Foundation’s headquarters in Baraboo, Wisconsin includes the world’s only collection of all 15 species of cranes. At our facility, we care for over 100 individual cranes, including more than 30 Endangered Whooping Cranes.
You can help us care for our cranes by adopting a crane species! Your $100 adoption will help us provide our cranes with food, water, and veterinary care throughout the year.
As an adoptive parent, you will receive:
- Crane species fact sheet, photo and poster (18″ x 24″)
- Adoption certificate
- One-year subscription to our newsletter, The Bugle

Adopt-a-Crane for someone else! Gift adoptions make great gifts for friends and family and can be enjoyed by all ages. Adopt-a-Crane packets allow the recipient to open a physical gift while also knowing they are supporting the well-being of a crane species in our care! Please plan ahead and allow 5-7 business days for your adoption to be processed and shipped in time for your recipient’s special day!*
