Whooping Crane mascot Hope and and International Crane Foundation aviculturist wearing a blue shirt and wading boots.
Whooping Crane mascot Hope and an aviculturist at the International Crane Foundation’s headquarters in Baraboo, Wisconsin.

As you consider becoming a part of our flock of “Craniacs,” we want you to understand the passion of our organization. It all began with the dream of two college students and grew to become a global conservation effort to save the world’s cranes.  Our commitment today is the same whether we are working in South Africa, Uganda, Zambia, China, Texas, at our headquarters in Baraboo, WI, or in one of the other 50+ countries where the International Crane Foundation has a presence.

What is it like to work at the International Crane Foundation? Prepare to be surrounded by people who are passionate about the mission, dedicated to the organization and engaged with their fellow employees. Our team is committed to fulfilling the dream that started 50 years ago.

The International Crane Foundation offers a competitive salary and benefits package, but more importantly, we offer a culture of inclusion, an appreciation for the natural world, and a career with a purpose.  Staff working at or visiting our headquarters enjoy over 200 acres of beautiful prairie and woodlands, complete with nature trails and over 100 cranes on site. Many staff members enjoy taking part of their day to visit the cranes or go for a leisurely stroll on the trails to surround themselves with the natural beauty of our property.

If you want a career where you can contribute to these ideals, please apply!
