If you visited our Whooping Crane exhibit this fall did you notice the new interpretive panels mounted around the exhibit mural? The panels encourage viewers to consider the costs and benefits of preservation and conservation. The new graphics also identify the many species that artist Victor Bakhtin featured in his mural Paradise Lost, a lush representation of a long-ago Wisconsin wilderness.
The panels were developed and installed with support from a C.D. Besadny Grant, which provides funds through the Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin.
