Looking for an excuse to upgrade your birding optics? Consider donating your gently-used binoculars and spotting scopes to the newly formed Myanmar Crane Team.
The team will conduct the first Myanmar Sarus Crane population census next year and will need several pairs of binoculars and spotting scopes. The environment in Myanmar is hot and humid, and the team will be working in wetlands, so water-proof binoculars and scopes are preferred (with 8 x 42 or 10 x 42 optics for binoculars and 20-60 x 80 for scopes).
