I have been a fan and supporter of the International Crane Foundation for many years. My interest in the organization stems from following the growth of the Foundation and increasing awareness of the work that it does to support cranes around the globe. While I am not a birder per se, I have been a craniac for many years and am ready to become more involved in supporting the welfare of the threatened cranes in the U.S. and worldwide.

I am a retired lawyer; I retired in 2010. Prior to that, I was a shareholder in Drinka, Levine and Masson S.C. For the last 10 years or so, I primarily concentrated on family law. I am also experienced in civil litigation and contract drafting. During my career, I did
pro bono work when possible. During most of my working years and until last year in my retirement, I volunteered for several legal clinics sponsored by Marquette University Law School, Milwaukee Justice Center, and Legal Action of Wisconsin. Through these clinics, I
counseled clients on general civil issues and family and nonprofit law.

I have been involved with some nonprofit organizations in Guatemala due to spending time there with a good friend who has a home in Antigua, Guatemala. I decided I could be more helpful if I knew more about nonprofit law. Accordingly, I audited the
nonprofit law course at Marquette Law School and then joined and helped expand the Marquette Legal Initiative for Nonprofit Corporations (“M-Linc”). We assisted small nonprofit
organizations that could otherwise not afford legal counsel.

I have been on numerous nonprofit boards in Milwaukee, including Neighborhood House of Milwaukee and Milwaukee Jewish Community Center. I have volunteered at the Wisconsin Humane Society, doing everything from grooming cats to co-sponsoring
the annual gala, Paws & Claws, in 2013.

I graduated from the University of Rochester with a B.A. in 1973 and from Boston University School of Law with a J.D. in 1977.
