Teachers don’t just educate—they open doors, spark curiosity, and plant seeds that grow into a lifetime of wonder. Behind every conservationist is a teacher at some point in their life who believed the natural world was worth caring about.

This August 8, we’re celebrating the educators who make that possible.

Join us for a FREE Teacher Appreciation Day at the International Crane Foundation’s Crane Discovery Center in Baraboo, Wisconsin—the only place on Earth where you can see all 15 crane species. All K-12 educators—current and retired—will receive free admission, special teacher resources, and a gift bag!

Whether you teach biology, geography, world cultures, social studies, or kindergarten, this day is designed for you. Explore our grounds, connect with our education team, and discover how cranes can bring science, conservation, culture, and global citizenship into your classroom. You inspire the next generation every single day, and that’s worth celebrating.
