Visit the Crane Discovery Center to learn about the world’s cranes – we are the only place in the world with all 15 species – walk the nature trails, and browse our popular gift shop. We are open daily from May 1 through Oct. 31, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Join us Saturday, June 20, from 4 to 7 p.m. for An Evening with the Cranes at our global headquarters in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Sample local food, craft beer, and wine while you meet our local and regional staff and, of course, cranes.
Save the date for the 2026 Great Midwest Crane Fest – Celebrating Community and Conservation in Baraboo, Wisconsin, from Nov. 14 to 15, as thousands of Sandhill Cranes gather near the Wisconsin River before flying south for the winter.
Our crane gates close for the 2025 visitor season on Oct. 31.
