Thank you for another wonderful visitor season. Our crane gates are now closed for the year, but we hope to see you next spring beginning May 1. We will be open daily through Oct. 31, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Public tours are at 10 a.m. and 1 and 3 p.m. on weekends only in May, September and October and daily in June, July and August. These guided tours are up to 1 hour and are a themed topic. Examples of topics include Cranes and Culture, Crane Behavior 101, and Spirit of Africa. To learn more about reserving a 1.5 to 2-hour private group tour, please click here.

Located in Baraboo amid the farmlands of southern Wisconsin, the International Crane Foundation’s headquarters are just ten minutes from the Wisconsin Dells and surrounding Baraboo Hills. Visit to learn about the world’s cranes – we are the only place in the world with all 15 species – walk the nature trails, and browse our popular gift shop.
