Cranes! Migratory Bird Day Presentation

Join our Whooping Crane Outreach Coordinator Stephanie Schmidt at the Friends of Hackmatack National Wildlife Refuge’s Migratory Bird Day to learn about Sandhill and Whooping Cranes in Illinois. Stephanie will speak from 10 to 11 a.m. on how to identify the world’s most abundant and rarest cranes, where they are found throughout the year, and how conservation organizations are helping to bring cranes back to the state.
