International Crane Foundation Needs Well-Watered Trees for Cranes
Jan. 5, 2024 (Baraboo) – The International Crane Foundation is looking for real Christmas trees (not artificial) to use in crane exhibits and for crane enrichment activities at its headquarters in Baraboo, Wis.
“Well-watered trees can be put to good use in our crane habitats,” said Kyle Tainter, Senior Aviculturist at the International Crane Foundation. “We can recycle these trees to help with management of the 125 cranes that live here including using them for enrichment and to act as soft buffers when restraining birds for our breeding and propagation efforts.”
