ICF Celebrates Mother's Day and Endangered Species Day

Visit ICF's headquarters in Baraboo, Wis.Baraboo, WI – Visit the International Crane Foundation (ICF) in May and celebrate Mother’s Day and Endangered Species Day during two special weekends at our headquarters in Baraboo, Wis.!

On Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 11, Mom’s receive free admission throughout the day (a $9.50 value). Bring your family and enjoy our nature trails, participate in guided tours, and learn about the role ICF’s aviculturists play as “crane parents” in our captive breeding program.

The following week, on Saturday, May 17, learn about endangered crane species and what you can do to help during Endangered Species Day. Participate in guided nature walks, enjoy arts and crafts, and learn about the incredible role ICF plays in helping to bring the majestic Whooping Crane back from the brink of extinction.

TrilliumSpend some time outside enjoying the only place in the world where you can view all 15 crane species, or grab your binoculars and enjoy birding on our nature trails that wind through restored prairie, wetland, and oak savanna ecosystems (left, trillium greet visitors along our woodland paths in the spring).
