The New Year has brought several new faces to the International Crane Foundation’s headquarters, and we are excited to share their stories with you!
This month we are welcoming Stormy Hovey, our new Executive Administrative Assistant, who is supporting our executive staff and Board of Directors. Also migrating to our headquarters is Todd Holman, who is beginning his position as our new Human Resources Manager. Stormy brings a wealth of experience from her previous work at the University of Wisconsin Extension, while Todd brings experience from previous positions at Goodwill Industries of South Central Wisconsin, The Mentor Network/REM Wisconsin, and Wisconsin Badger Camp.
Rounding out our January hires is Tom Hecht, our new Vice President of Development. Tom is very passionate about our mission, and has been an International Crane Foundation member for many years. His experience ranges from very grassroots organizations to highly established development departments, including work as a development consultant, board member of non-profit organizations, motivational speaker, legislative aide, and Assistant Secretary of State for the State of Wisconsin. Tom has served as Assistant Vice President at Beloit College in southern Wisconsin, as well as at the University of Wisconsin Foundation.
Stormy, Todd, and Tom join several other new faces that joined our team last fall, including our new Aviculturist, Mark Wolff, Administrative Assistant, Christina vonSeggern, Gift Shop Manager, Rose Boyajian, North America Program Director, Tim Grunewald, Compliance Specialist, Jason Oswald, and Facility Technician, Justin Acheson.
We hope you will join us in welcoming our new craniacs to the flock!
