Sandhill Crane Saturdays

Join the International Crane Foundation during fall migration at the Sandhill Crane Viewing Tower at Jasper-Pulaski Fish and Wildlife Area. Our team will be at the tower on Saturdays from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. ET beginning Oct. 17 – Dec. 19, 2026, excluding Oct. 31 and Nov. 28. During this time, we will be happy to answer your crane questions, and you may even be able to spot an Endangered Whooping Crane. Make sure to dress for the weather. We hope to see you there!

Weather cancellations: In the event of a travel advisory or extreme cold warning being issued for Jasper, Pulaski, or surrounding counties, we will not be present at the Observation Area. If you have questions about the event status, email mcallaghan@savingcranes.org.

Location: Sandhill Crane Observation Area, 5353 County Road 1650, West Medaryville, Indiana
