Cranes of the World Celebration

Fun for the entire family! Save the date for our annual Cranes of the World Celebration on Saturday, Aug. 12, at our headquarters in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Plan your visit here.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Hands-on activities for the little Craniacs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., including origami crane folding, crane masks and a crane anatomy display. 
  • We will also introduce two new tours – Continent of Cranes and a Storytelling Tour that explores the folklore behind cranes. Guided tours will be at 10 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m., along with a Keeper Chat with an aviculturist at 2 p.m.
  • Don’t miss special guest appearances by naturalist and humorist David Stokes at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and our Whooping Crane mascot Hope from 9:30 to 10 a.m. and 3 to 3:30 p.m.!  
  • And, of course, be sure to check out our gift shop, where you can find unique crane-themed gifts, many exclusive to the International Crane Foundation. 

Please join us and celebrate cranes around the world! Daily admission is $12.50 for adults, $10 for seniors 65 and over, and $6 for youth ages 6-17. Children five and under and Members are free.
