Cranes of the World Celebration

Fun for the entire family! Save the date for our annual Cranes of the World Celebration on Saturday, Aug. 10, at our headquarters in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Plan your visit here.

Here’s what to expect:

  • All Day – Sidewalk Chalk (behind the George ArchibaldWelcome Center)
  • 9:15 a.m. – Prairie Walk
  • 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. – Enrichment Table with Husbandry Staff
  • 10 a.m. – Cranes of the World Tour (1.5 hours)
  • 11 a.m. – David Stokes and His Wetland Friends
  • 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Whooping Crane Mascot Hope Appearance
  • 1 p.m. – Magical Mystery Public Tour (30 minutes)
  • 1:30 p.m. – David Stokes and His Wetland Friends
  • 2 – 4 p.m. – Button Making Table
  • 3 p.m. – Cranes of the World Tour (1.5 hours)

And, of course, be sure to check out our gift shop, where you can find unique crane-themed gifts, many exclusive to the International Crane Foundation. 

Please join us and celebrate cranes around the world! Daily admission is $12.50 for adults, $10 for seniors 65 and over, and $6 for youth ages 6-17. Children five and under and Members are free.
