Wisconsin artist Sharon Nicholas finds the perfect washi (wa – Japanese and shi – paper) to create these one-of-a-kind boxes. Each is handmade using traditional bookbinding techniques. The completed boxes are embellished with paint, beads and other objects to make every box a unique work of art.
Patterns are assorted, with cranes, florals, traditional Japanese prints, or abstract prints. Tell us your favorite color and allow us to choose a box just for you.
