New Mexico artist Jana Svobodoba carves original designs and presses Fine Silver clay by hand into molds for each piece. The PMC silver clay is then fired, resulting in pure silver jewelry. After firing, each piece is burnished and polished, and a patina is applied to enhance details.
"Big Crane" is a well-known and remarkably well-preserved petroglyph found in the desert of Southern Utah. Cranes are a common design found carved into the rockface throughout the region, spread throughout the ancestral Hopi and Navajo lands. These petroglyphs are several thousand years old, proving cranes have been an important symbol for people for a very long time.
