These exquisite glass ornaments are reversed hand painted on the inside of glass. Work is done by individual skilled artisans, using a special curved brush which is inserted through the small hole at the top of each ball. Originating during the Ming Dynasty, this painting technique has been refined over the centuries and is now used to create these unique, collectable ornaments.
