Horicon Marsh Community Science Day
Aug 24, 2024 @ 2 PM – 6 PMJoin us at Horicon Marsh for Community Science Day on Saturday, Aug. 24! Stop by our exhibit from 2 to 6 p.m. to learn how we band and track cranes:
Kids will be banded like cranes (colored paper bracelets) and then given a data sheet to complete and record their observations of other banded cranes (other kids). Use a receiver and yagi to show how telemetry works and do a simple hunt for a radio transmitter.
