Springtown Roasters is a woman-owned business in the Texas Hill Country. They usually sell their beans at small farmer’s markets and local fairs. We were lucky enough to find them at the Whooping Crane Festival in Port Aransas, Texas where we discovered their coffee from one of the most important areas for cranes anywhere – East Africa. This vibrant small-batch coffee is sourced from small growers in Uganda and Rwanda, two East African countries that are critical to the continued survival of Grey Crowned Cranes. We are proud to carry this Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee that supports local, environmentally responsible farmers in Africa and a woman-owned business in the USA. You’ll enjoy this coffee even more knowing that each cup supports our mission to save cranes and their habitats, too!
Rwanda Blend: Smooth cup with notes of creamy butter, cocoa, and citrus. Medium Roast.
Uganda Blend: Crisp notes of citrus and persimmon with a chocolate finish. Medium Roast.
