Sandhill Cranes are the world's most plentiful crane species. During breeding season, three migratory subspecies spread across the northern U.S., Canada, and eastern Siberia. Three non-migratory subspecies reside in Mississippi, Florida, and Cuba.
All of the Sandhill Cranes spend their winter holidays in warm, sunny climes.
