Greetings Craniacs!

Just a quick note to thank you all for coming to Milwaukee to celebrate George’s milestone birthday and the work of the International Crane Foundation. It was a magical evening!

We have had some requests for the wonderful Jim Blackburn poem, George and the Judge – click here for your reading pleasure. Also, some of you requested the historical photo show that played in the Past Time Theater at the museum. Click here to watch that show on YouTube.

Again, thank you for joining us in a mission that transcends geography and culture – a mission in which a family of magnificent, endangered birds are truly ambassadors for the welfare of wetlands and grasslands, entire watersheds, long flyways, local people, and good will worldwide.

George Archibald Endowment for Conservation Leadership

As George celebrates his 70th birthday this year, he is as busy as ever – traveling to remote corners of the world to continue his life’s work. With every trip and every encounter one thing remains constant – George discovers, nurtures, and inspires the conservation leaders of the future.

George has just one birthday wish, but we need your help to grant it. He wants to ensure that the global conservation leadership he has built over a lifetime will continue. Forever. Please wish George a very happy birthday by using the reply card to donate to the George Archibald Endowment for Conservation Leadership!
